Bromley Council Carbon Neutral Pledge

Bromley Council put forward its ambitious proposals to ensure Council activities are net carbon neutral by 2029.

This is one of the most ambitious targets of any London Borough. Following a Full Council motion seconded by Chislehurst Councillor Kieran Terry, and supported by all Chislehurst members, the Council’s Environment Committee backed plans which would see reductions in carbon emissions across its services. The council will also be requesting new contractors providing services on behalf of the council support the Council’s aim.
