Flamingo Park Works
Chislehurst Councillors are very pleased that the re-instated grass pitches at Flamingo Park have enabled Cray Wanderers F.C., the second oldest club in the world, to play football again at Flamingo Park for the first time in excess of 10 Years.
All the teams in the youth section are doing well & the U 13 have recently reached the Kent County cup final.
On a Saturday morning there is an U5’s soccer school & a number of CWVC youth teams training which means every weekend there are plenty of CW football teams training & playing at the ground which has brought the playing fields back to life.
The land to the right of the site has been cleared in readiness for the much needed housing
All three Councillors support the regeneration of this site for sports & community use.
